How to Draw a Bread Box
Draw a bread box in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the box.
Step 1: The box
In the middle of your paper draw a wide box with big rounded top corners, a bit wider than tall.
Step 2: The loaf
Start near the bottom left of the box. Draw a soft hill for the loaf, down to the bottom right.
Step 3: Two big eyes
On the loaf draw 2 big egg eyes, one eye-width apart. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile. Add a small flat oval cheek beside each eye.
Step 5: The roll-top lid
Above the loaf draw a line from the left side across to the right. Add 3 more above for slats.
Step 6: The knob
On the lid's bottom edge, in the middle, draw a small rounded bar for the knob.
Step 7: The opening
Start on the lid line, left side. Draw a square U round the loaf, back up to the lid line.
Step 8: Feet and ground
Under the box draw 2 small flat feet. Draw a ground line under the feet from left to right.
Step 9: Sparkles
Draw a few little four-point sparkles around it to make it shine.
Step 10: Opening and sparkles
Go over your lines, then colour the opening cream and the sparkles yellow.
Step 11: Tan loaf and lid
Colour the loaf and the lid tan, and the cheeks pink. Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Wood box
Colour the box, knob and feet brown, going around the cream opening.
