How to Draw a Box
Draw a box in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the box.
Step 1: The box
Below the middle of your paper draw a wide box with soft corners, almost as tall as it is wide.
Step 2: Open flaps
From each top corner draw a flap leaning up and out, coming back down to the middle of the top.
Step 3: Two big eyes
On the front of the box, above the middle, draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a black dot in each.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile, eye to eye, and a small flat cheek out beside each end.
Step 5: Tape strip
Just under the top edge, draw a line from the left side across to the right side for the tape.
Step 6: A label
Low on the right of the box draw a small flat label box, and a little heart inside it.
Step 7: Ground and sparkles
Draw a ground line under the box from well left to well right, and 3 sparkle stars around it.
Step 8: Tan box and tape
Go over your lines. Colour the tape cream and the box tan around it. Leave eyes, cheeks and label white.
Step 9: Brown flaps
Colour the 2 flaps wood brown, a little darker than the box.
Step 10: Red heart, pink cheeks
Colour the little heart red and the cheeks pink.
Step 11: Yellow sparkles
Colour the sparkles yellow, and your box is packed and ready!
