How to Draw a Box of Chocolates
Draw a box of chocolates in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the heart box.
Step 1: The heart box
In the middle of your paper draw a big fat heart. Start at the top dip, end at the point.
Tip Make it plump: the chocolates need room inside.
Step 2: The rim
Inside the heart draw a smaller heart, a thumb in from the edge all the way round.
Step 3: Round chocolates
Inside the rim draw 3 round chocolates. One up left, one on the right, one low above the point.
Step 4: Toppings
Give each round chocolate a top: a swirl of icing, a tiny round nut, and a wavy drizzle.
Step 5: Square chocolates
Draw 3 square chocolates with soft corners in the gaps. One up right, one in the middle, one left.
Step 6: Square tops
In each square chocolate draw a smaller square, leaving a gap all round.
Step 7: A bow
On the left bump of the box draw a small round knot. Add a teardrop loop on each side.
Step 8: A little shine
On the top left chocolate draw a tiny shine sliver near its top right edge.
Step 9: Cream inside, pink bow
Go over your lines. Colour the inside of the box cream, around the chocolates, and the bow pink.
Step 10: Light tops, red rim
Colour the small squares and the nut light brown. Colour the rim red, around the bow.
Step 11: Brown chocolates
Colour all 6 chocolates brown, going around the light tops, the nut and the shine. Your box is done!
