How to Draw a Biscotti
Draw a biscotti in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: a plate.
Step 1: A plate
Draw a big oval plate, almost as wide as the page.
Tip The plate comes first. The biscotti lie across it.
Step 2: The rim
Just inside the plate draw a second oval, the same shape, for the rim.
Step 3: First biscotti
Across the front of the plate draw a long bar: flat bottom edge, gently arched top, round ends.
Tip Biscotti are long crunchy cookie slices baked twice.
Step 4: Second biscotti
Behind it draw a second bar the same size, tilted the other way. Stop where the front bar hides it.
Step 5: Chocolate tips
Near the right end of each bar, draw a wavy line from the top edge down to the bottom edge.
Tip The right ends were dipped in chocolate.
Step 6: Almond slices
Along the front bar draw 4 small slanted ovals, spread out in a row, for almond slices.
Step 7: More almonds
Draw 4 more small ovals along the top of the back bar.
Step 8: Crumbs
Draw 3 tiny ovals on the plate for crumbs, away from the bars.
Step 9: Cream almonds
Go over your lines, then colour the 8 almond slices cream.
Step 10: Tan biscotti
Colour both bars tan, around the almonds, up to the wavy lines.
Step 11: Brown chocolate, crumbs
Colour the 2 dipped ends and the crumbs brown.
Step 12: Sky plate
Colour the plate sky blue, around the bars and crumbs, and your biscotti are done!
