How to Draw Bingsu
Draw bingsu in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the bowl rim.
Step 1: The bowl rim
In the middle of your paper draw a long flat oval, almost as wide as the page, for the rim.
Step 2: The bowl
Start at the left end of the oval. Draw a deep U under it and stop at the right end.
Step 3: The stem and foot
Start under the bowl and draw 2 close lines going down. Flare them out to end in a flat foot.
Step 4: A mountain of ice
Start just inside the left end of the rim. Draw a big tall dome and stop inside the right end.
Tip Bingsu is a mountain of fluffy shaved ice with sweet toppings.
Step 5: Red bean on top
On the very top of the hill draw a blob of sweet red bean paste with a drippy bottom edge.
Step 6: Strawberries
Draw 2 strawberries, high on the left slope and low on the right. Give each a 3-leaf cap.
Step 7: Seeds
Dot 5 tiny teardrop seeds on each strawberry, with the points toward its tip.
Step 8: Scattered beans
Draw 4 little bean ovals here and there on the ice, away from the strawberries.
Step 9: The table
Draw a line under the foot from well left to well right, just touching its bottom.
Step 10: Sky blue bowl
Go over your lines, then colour the bowl, stem and foot sky blue. Leave the ice white.
Step 11: Red strawberries
Colour the strawberry caps green, then the strawberries red around the seeds.
Step 12: Brown beans
Colour the red bean paste and the stray beans brown, and your bingsu is done!
