How to Draw a Binder
Draw a binder in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the cover.
Step 1: The cover
In the middle draw a tall box for the cover, with its 2 right corners softly rounded.
Step 2: The spine
Down the left side draw a tall box, as tall as the cover, for the thick spine.
Step 3: Two big eyes
On the lower half of the cover draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a U smile from eye to eye, and a small oval cheek beside each end.
Step 5: The label
Near the top of the cover draw a wide box for the label, with 2 lines of writing inside it.
Step 6: Spine label and ring
On the spine draw a label box with 2 lines near the top, and a donut ring near the bottom.
Step 7: The pages
Along the right edge draw a thin tall strip peeking out from behind the cover, for the pages inside.
Step 8: Sparkles and desk
Add 4 sparkles in the air, and a straight desk line under the binder from left to right.
Step 9: Pink cheeks, yellow sparkles
Colour the cheeks pink and the sparkles yellow.
Step 10: Cream pages, grey ring
Colour the pages cream and the ring grey, but not its hole.
Step 11: Blue cover
Colour the cover blue around the face and cheeks. Leave the label and eyes white.
Step 12: Dark blue spine
Colour the spine dark blue around the ring, and inside its hole. Leave the spine label white.
