How to Draw a Brain
Draw a brain in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: two bumpy halves.
Step 1: Two bumpy halves
In the middle of your paper draw 2 fat round halves side by side, each with 6 soft bumps.
Step 2: Middle line
Draw a short wavy line down from the top dip and up from the bottom dip. Stop well before the middle.
Step 3: Two big eyes
In the middle draw 2 big egg eyes with a small gap between them. Colour a black dot in each.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Draw a small U smile from under one eye over to the other, and an oval cheek below each eye.
Step 5: Left folds
On the left half draw 3 long wiggly folds, each starting at a dip in the edge.
Tip Let each fold curl like a lazy snake and keep it away from the face.
Step 6: Right folds
Do the same on the right half: 3 long wiggly folds, each starting at a dip in the edge.
Step 7: The stem
Start at the bottom dip. Draw a short stem down, getting thinner, with a round tip.
Tip Keep it short, like a little carrot.
Step 8: Sparkles
Draw 2 sparkle stars, one up on the left and one up on the right.
Step 9: Yellow and pink
Colour the sparkles yellow. Colour the brain and stem pink around the eyes and cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 10: Rosy cheeks
Colour the 2 cheeks red. Go over your lines and you are done!
