How to Draw a Bernedoodle
Draw a bernedoodle in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Start high on the left. Draw a big round U head, stopping high on the right. Leave the top open.
Tip Leave room underneath for the body and legs.
Step 2: Fluffy top and ears
From the left corner draw 4 fluffy bumps over to the right corner. Hang a bumpy ear on each side.
Tip Poodle fur is all pom-poms: every edge is bumpy.
Step 3: Two big eyes
Just above the middle of the head draw 2 eggy eyes. Add big black dots with tiny shines.
Step 4: Snout and nose
Under the eyes draw a wide oval snout inside the head. Sit a black triangle nose on top, point down.
Step 5: Smile and tongue
From the nose draw a short line down to a w smile. Hang a small U tongue from the middle.
Step 6: The body
From under each ear draw a big C down for the body, ending low. Join them with a sagging line.
Tip The body is a bit wider than the head.
Step 7: The collar
Under the chin draw a sagging curve from the left side across to the right. Add a second curve below.
Step 8: Front legs
From the collar draw 2 legs down to round paws on the ground. Add 2 toe lines on each paw.
Tip Make each leg a little narrower just above its paw.
Step 9: Back paws and tail
Draw a little hill paw at each bottom corner. From the right hip draw a fluffy tail curving up.
Tip Draw a small curve across the top of the tail, for its white tip.
Step 10: Stripe and ground
Draw a thin stripe down the middle of the face, from the forehead to the snout. Add a ground line.
Step 11: Tan brows, pink tongue
Colour a small tan dot over each eye, and the tongue pink.
Step 12: Red collar
Colour the collar bright red.
Step 13: Dark grey coat
Colour the dog dark grey around the collar, brows and tongue. Leave the stripe, snout, paws and tail tip white.
Tip Keep the eyes white.
