How to Draw a Dancing Bear
Draw a dancing bear in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big round head.
Step 1: Big round head
Near the top, draw a big soft head, wider than tall, with fat cheeks.
Tip A big head makes your bear cute.
Step 2: Round ears
On each top corner of the head, draw a round ear with a small circle inside.
Step 3: Happy eyes
Above the middle of the head, draw 2 oval eyes. Add a big black dot and a shine in each.
Step 4: Snout and nose
Under the eyes, draw a wide oval snout. Draw a black rounded triangle nose at its top.
Step 5: Big smile
From the nose, draw a short line down to a big open smile, like a bowl.
Step 6: Round tummy
Under the head, draw a round egg body, wider at the bottom. Draw a smaller egg inside it.
Step 7: Dancing arms
Draw one arm reaching up high and one bent out to the side. End each in a round paw.
Tip Each arm bends at the elbow and gets thinner towards the paw.
Step 8: Standing leg
Under the tummy, draw a short thick leg down to a plump foot with its toes pointing out.
Step 9: Kicking leg
Lift the other leg out to the side. Bend it at the knee and add a plump foot.
Tip The lifted foot stays off the ground.
Step 10: Toes
Draw 2 short toe lines on each paw and on each foot.
Step 11: Ground and music
Draw a ground line under the standing foot. Add 3 music notes in the air.
Step 12: Tan and pink
Colour the snout, the tummy egg and the ear circles tan, around the nose. Colour the smile pink.
Step 13: Brown fur
Colour the head, ears, body, arms and legs brown, around the tan parts. Leave the eyes white.
