How to Draw a Bear Cub
Draw a bear cub in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big round head.
Step 1: Big round head
Near the top left, draw a big round head, a little wider than tall. Leave room on the right.
Tip The head is about as big as the body is deep.
Step 2: Big oval eyes
In the middle of the head, draw 2 big oval eyes, each with a black pupil and a shine.
Tip The eyes sit in the middle of the head, not low.
Step 3: Egg snout
Under the eyes, draw an egg snout and black nose. From the nose, draw a line down to a smile.
Step 4: Round ears
On each top corner of the head, draw a round cookie ear with a smaller curve inside.
Step 5: Bean body
Start behind the head. Draw a big soft bean body with a round bottom, and stop under the snout.
Step 6: Two legs
Under the chest, draw a chunky front leg. Under the bottom, draw a back leg.
Tip Each leg gets a little thinner above a plump round paw with 2 short toe lines.
Step 7: Far legs and ground
Add 2 far legs peeking out beside the near legs. Draw a ground line under all 4 paws.
Step 8: Stub tail
On the top corner of the bottom, draw a little leaf tail pointing up and back.
Step 9: Tan snout and ears
Colour the snout and the ear insides tan.
Step 10: Colour it brown
Colour the head, ears, body, legs and tail brown, around the tan parts. Leave the eyes white.
