How to Draw a Bean Astronaut
Draw a bean astronaut in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: round helmet.
Step 1: Round helmet
Near the top draw a big round helmet. Add a thin curved shine inside, near the top left.
Step 2: Smiling face
Inside the helmet draw a round face. Give it 2 big eyes with dots and shines, and a smile.
Step 3: Collar and suit
Draw an oval collar under the helmet. From one end, draw a plump bean suit round to the other end.
Step 4: Arms and mittens
Start at each shoulder. Draw a chubby arm down to the wrist, back up to the side. Add a mitten.
Step 5: Legs and boots
Under the suit draw 2 short legs, one each side. Give each a boot with the toe pointing out.
Step 6: Chest box
In the middle of the chest draw a small box. Draw 2 lines across it, side to side.
Step 7: Backpack
Behind each shoulder draw the top of a backpack peeking out, from the helmet round to the arm.
Step 8: Ground and stars
Draw a straight ground line under the boots. Add 2 sparkle stars in the sky.
Step 9: Yellow stars
Colour the 2 stars yellow.
Step 10: Peach face
Colour the face peach and the cheeks pink. Leave the eyes and the suit white.
Step 11: Sky glass
Colour the glass sky blue around the face. Leave the shine white.
Step 12: Grey gear
Colour the collar, backpack, chest box, mittens and boots grey. Your astronaut is done!
