How to Draw a Churro
Draw a churro in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: a plate.
Step 1: A plate
In the middle, draw a big flat oval plate, most of the way across the page.
Step 2: First churro
On the plate, draw a bumpy star. From its top and bottom, draw a long stick with a round end.
Tip Churro dough is squeezed out through a star, so each end is a star.
Step 3: Its ridges
Start at the 3 dips on the star's right side. Draw 3 lines along the stick, stopping before the end.
Step 4: Second churro
Above it, draw a second star and stick sloping down. Lift your pencil where the first churro is in front.
Step 5: More ridges
Draw its 3 ridge lines from the star's dips too, skipping where the first churro hides them.
Step 6: A dipping cup
At the plate's right, draw an oval rim. From one end, draw down, across and up to the other end.
Step 7: Chocolate sauce
Inside the rim, draw a smaller flat oval for the chocolate filling the cup.
Step 8: The table
Draw a line under the plate from well left to well right, just touching its bottom.
Step 9: Sky plate and cup
Go over your lines. Colour the plate and the cup sky blue. Leave the churros and chocolate for later.
Step 10: Ginger churros
Colour both churros ginger, leaving a few tiny white dots for the sugar.
Step 11: Brown chocolate
Colour the chocolate in the cup brown. Your churros are ready to dip!

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a churro, drawn by you.
