How to Draw Antlers
Draw antlers in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the headband.
Step 1: The headband
Low on your paper draw a rainbow from left to right. Draw a second one inside, and join the ends.
Tip The antlers grow from the top of the band, one each side.
Step 2: Left antler
Start on the band, left of middle. Draw a tall thick branch curving up and out, back to the band.
Tip It bends like a bow, fatter at the bottom.
Step 3: Right antler
Start on the band, right of middle. Draw a matching branch curving up and out, back to the band.
Step 4: Left lower point
Low on the left antler, draw a long point poking out and up. Make it thin at the tip.
Tip Start about a third of the way up.
Step 5: Right lower point
Do the same on the right antler: a long point poking out and up, a third of the way up.
Step 6: Left upper points
Higher up the left antler draw 2 more points: one poking out, and one near the top poking in.
Step 7: Right upper points
Do the same on the right antler: 2 more points near the top, one out and one in.
Step 8: Bark marks
On each antler draw 2 short curved dashes in the middle, between the points. Keep them off the edges.
Step 9: Red headband
Colour the headband red, right to both ends.
Step 10: Brown antlers
Colour both antlers and all the points brown. Go over your lines and your antlers are ready to wear!
