How to Draw an Alarm Clock
Draw an alarm clock in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the round case.
Step 1: The round case
In the middle of your paper draw one big round circle as wide as your hand.
Step 2: Two bells
Start top left on the case. Draw a round hump and stop on the case. Same right. Add a hammer.
Tip Like 2 round ears and a tiny hammer.
Step 3: Two big eyes
Inside the case, above the middle, draw 2 big egg eyes a thumb apart. Colour a black dot in each.
Step 4: Dial and shine
Inside the case draw a smaller circle a finger from the edge, and a shine curve at its top left.
Step 5: Smile and cheeks
Under the middle of the dial draw a small U smile, and a small flat cheek beside each end.
Step 6: Hour marks
At the top of the dial draw 2 dashes for the 12. Add 1 at the bottom, left and right.
Step 7: The hands
Draw a middle dot, then a long hand up to the 12 and a short hand down to the left.
Step 8: Two legs
Draw 2 legs slanting out under the case: start on the case, go down, stop back on it. Add feet.
Step 9: The ground
Draw a ground line under the feet, from well left of the clock to well right of it.
Step 10: Ring ring
Beside each bell draw 2 short curved lines following the bell round, so the clock is ringing.
Step 11: Yellow and pink
Colour the 2 bells, the hammer ball and the hands yellow. Colour the cheeks pink.
Step 12: Sky dial
Colour the dial sky blue around the eyes, cheeks and hands. Leave the eyes white.
Step 13: Red case
Go over your lines, then colour the case ring, the legs and the feet red. Your clock is ringing!

Your finished drawing
