How to Draw an Ace of Spades
Draw an ace of spades in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the card.
Step 1: The card
In the middle of your paper draw a tall rectangle with rounded corners, like a playing card.
Step 2: A big spade
In the middle of the card draw a big spade: an upside-down heart with a little stem below.
Step 3: A happy face
In the spade draw 2 big round eyes with black dots. Add a small U smile and 2 tiny cheeks.
Step 4: The border
Inside the card draw a second rounded rectangle a finger in from the edge, all the way round.
Step 5: Top corner
In the top-left corner draw a letter A. Under it draw a tiny spade.
Step 6: Bottom corner
In the bottom-right corner draw an upside-down A, and an upside-down tiny spade above it.
Step 7: A card behind
Draw a card peeking out on the right. Start by the top corner and stop by the bottom corner.
Step 8: Sparkles
Draw 4 sparkle stars in the corners of the paper.
Step 9: Pink cheeks, yellow stars
Colour the 2 cheeks pink and the 4 sparkle stars yellow.
Step 10: Blue card behind
Colour the card peeking out behind blue. Leave the front card white.
Step 11: Slate spade
Colour the big spade slate grey around the face, leaving the eyes white. Colour the tiny spades black.
