How to Draw a 3D Pyramid
Draw a 3D pyramid in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: point and front face.
Step 1: Point and front face
Start at a point near the top. Draw a line down left, along the bottom, and back to the point.
Tip A pyramid has a point on top and flat sloping faces.
Step 2: The side face
From the point draw another line down to the right, further out. Join it to the front face's bottom corner.
Tip Now you can see 2 faces, so the pyramid looks solid.
Step 3: Two big eyes
In the lower middle of the front face draw 2 BIG egg eyes. Add a black dot with a shine.
Step 4: A big smile
Under the eyes draw a big wide U smile from eye to eye, ends turning up.
Step 5: Rosy cheeks
Beside each end of the smile, leaving a small gap, draw a small sideways oval cheek.
Step 6: Sparkles on the left
On the left of the pyramid draw 2 sparkle stars, one higher and one lower.
Step 7: Sparkles on the right
Draw 2 more sparkle stars on the right to match.
Step 8: Shadow and floor
Draw a flat oval shadow round all 3 bottom corners. Add a floor line out from each side of it.
Step 9: Pink cheeks, yellow front
Colour the cheeks pink. Colour the front face and the 4 sparkles yellow, around the face. Leave the eyes white.
Step 10: Grey shadow
Colour the shadow under the pyramid grey.
Step 11: Ginger side face
Colour the side face ginger orange so the pyramid looks solid. Your 3D pyramid is done!

Your finished drawing
