How to Draw Vanilla Ice Cream
Draw vanilla ice cream in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the glass dish.
Step 1: The glass dish
Below the middle draw a wide shallow bowl with a flat bottom and a straight rim line across the top.
Step 2: Stem and foot
Under the bowl draw a short stem, then a long flat oval foot. Add a table line under the foot.
Step 3: Big vanilla scoop
On the dish draw one big round scoop, narrower than the rim, with 6 round drips hanging over the rim.
Tip Each drip is a little round U, not a point. Let the rim stick out at both ends.
Step 4: A wafer
On the right of the scoop draw a tall slanted wafer sticking up from it, with 3 lines across.
Step 5: Cherry on top
On top of the scoop draw a round cherry, sunk in a little. Add a curved stem and a pointy leaf.
Step 6: Sprinkles
Draw 6 little oval sprinkles on the scoop, tilted different ways, keeping clear of the cherry and wafer.
Step 7: A drip
Start under a drip on the left. Draw a long drip down the glass and back up to the scoop.
Step 8: Glass shines
Inside the right of the dish draw a long curved line and a short one, so the glass looks shiny.
Step 9: Cream scoop, yellow sprinkles
Colour the scoop and drip vanilla cream, around the sprinkles. Then colour the sprinkles yellow.
Step 10: Tan wafer, blue glass
Colour the wafer tan, and the dish, stem and foot sky blue, around the drips.
Step 11: Red cherry, green leaf
Colour the cherry red, leaving a little white shine, and colour the leaf and stem green.
