How to Draw Two Cats
Draw two cats in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: two round heads.
Step 1: Two round heads
Draw a big egg on its side and a smaller one beside it. Give each cheek 2 fur points.
Tip Leave a small gap between the heads.
Step 2: Pointy ears
Draw a tall pointy ear on each top corner of both heads. Add a small pink triangle inside each.
Step 3: Big eyes
In the middle of each head, draw 2 big oval eyes. Add black dots and white shines.
Tip Leave the eyes white.
Step 4: Noses and smiles
Under the eyes, draw a small pink triangle nose on each cat. From its point, draw a W smile.
Step 5: Plump bodies
Start under one cheek. Draw a big U down, along the bottom and up to the other cheek.
Tip Each body is no wider than its head.
Step 6: Front legs
Start under each chin. Draw 2 U legs down to mitten paws on each cat, with 2 toes each.
Tip Wide at the top, thin at the ankle.
Step 7: Curly tails
On the outside of each body, draw a thick tail along the ground that curls up to a round tip.
Tip Thick at the body, thin at the tip.
Step 8: Back paws
Under each side, draw a small bun paw tucked behind the front paw. Rub out the line inside.
Step 9: Whiskers
Draw 2 short whiskers on each cheek, from beside the nose out toward the fur points.
Tip Stop before the edge of the face.
Step 10: Ground line
Start left of the big cat's tail. Draw the ground under both cats, past the other tail.
Step 11: Cream chests
Colour the chest between the front legs cream on both cats.
Step 12: Ginger cat
Colour the big cat ginger, around the cream chest and pink ears. Leave the eyes white.
Step 13: Grey cat
Colour the small cat grey, around its cream chest and pink ears. Your two cats are done!
