How to Draw a Tentacle Alien
Draw a tentacle alien in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: bell body.
Step 1: Bell body
In the middle of your page draw a big bell: a round dome on top and an almost flat bottom.
Tip Leave room above for the antennae and below for the tentacles.
Step 2: One big eye
In the top half of the bell draw one big circle for the eye.
Tip One eye, right in the middle, makes it an alien.
Step 3: Ring and pupil
Inside the eye draw a ring. Fill in a black pupil in the middle, leaving 2 white shines.
Step 4: Wide smile
Start below the left side of the eye. Draw a wide smile and stop below the right side.
Step 5: 2 antennae
From the top of the bell draw 2 short stalks leaning apart. End each one in a small ball.
Step 6: Middle tentacles
From the bottom of the bell draw 2 fat tentacles down to the ground. Curl each tip outwards.
Tip Rub out the bottom of the bell inside each tentacle. A tentacle gets thinner all the way to its tip.
Step 7: Outer tentacles
From each bottom corner draw one more wiggly tentacle, out and down. Curl its tip outwards too.
Tip Rub out the corner of the bell inside each one.
Step 8: Ground line
Start left of the tentacles. Draw a ground line under all 4 curls and stop on the right.
Step 9: Yellow and pink
Colour the 2 antenna balls yellow. Colour 2 pink oval cheeks, one at each end of the smile.
Step 10: Blue eye ring
Colour the ring in the eye blue. Leave the rest of the eye white.
Step 11: Green alien
Colour the bell and all 4 tentacles green, around the eye and the cheeks. Your tentacle alien is done!
