How to Draw a Sports Car
Draw a sports car in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: low car shape.
Step 1: Low car shape
Start at the nose. Draw a long low hill to the tail, then back to the nose with 2 arches.
Tip Long flat bonnet, low roof, slope to the tail. Keep it long and low.
Step 2: Tyres and road
Tuck 2 big tyres into the arches, each with a small circle. Draw a road under them, past both ends.
Tip The top of each tyre hides up inside its arch.
Step 3: Headlight eye
On the bonnet near the nose draw a round headlight eye. Add a black dot with a white shine.
Step 4: Windows
Start on the windscreen. Draw a rainbow inside the roof, then a flat line back to the start. Add posts.
Step 5: Smile and cheek
Draw a small U smile under the eye. Add a little round cheek beside the eye.
Step 6: Door and handle
Start under the back window post. Draw a line down and stop on the back arch. Add a tiny handle.
Step 7: Spoiler and tail light
Draw a spoiler wing over the boot, 2 sticks from the wing down to the car, and a tail light.
Step 8: Bumper and pipe
Add a round bumper on the nose. From the back, draw a pipe out and back to the car.
Step 9: Black tyres, grey bits
Colour the tyres black and the hubs grey with a black dot. Colour the bumper, handle, pipe and spoiler grey.
Step 10: Blue windows, yellow lights
Colour the windows sky blue. Colour the headlight and tail light yellow, around the black dot and shine.
Step 11: Blue car
Colour the cheek pink. Colour the whole body blue, around the windows, lights, handle and cheek.
