How to Draw a Soccer Coach

Draw a soccer coach in 13 steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.

Step 1: The head
Near the top of your paper, left of middle, draw an egg for the head, narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave room on the right for the cones and ball.
Step 2: The face
Draw 2 small eyes, a nose and a smile. Add 2 C ears, each starting and ending on the head.
Step 3: Baseball cap
Start left, above the eyes. Draw the cap over the top and down to the right. Add a curved visor.
Step 4: Neck, jacket, whistle
Draw 2 neck lines, then a jacket from one round to the other. Hang a whistle on a cord.
Tip A whistle is a round barrel with a flat mouthpiece on one side.
Step 5: Long sleeves
From each sleeve draw an arm with a cuff: the left bends in to the hip, the right hangs down.
Tip The right fist reaches down to grip the clipboard.
Step 6: Hands
On each wrist draw a fist like a fat egg, with a thumb bump and a curved finger line.
Step 7: Clipboard
Under the right fist draw a clipboard: a small clip behind the fist, a tall board below with 3 lines.
Step 8: Ground, cones and ball
Draw a ground line across the bottom. At the right put 2 flat-topped cones on it with a ball between.
Step 9: Trousers and sneakers
From the hem's left end draw trousers round both legs to its right end. Add a sneaker under each leg.
Step 10: Peach skin, pink cheeks
Colour the face, neck, ears and hands peach, with a pink circle on each cheek. Go over your lines!
Tip Keep the eyes white.
Step 11: Orange cones, grey whistle
Colour the 2 cones orange and the whistle grey.
Step 12: Clipboard, jacket, cap
Colour the clipboard wood brown, then the jacket, sleeves and cap blue, around the whistle.
Step 13: Navy trousers, black patch
Colour the trousers navy and the patch on the ball black.
