How to Draw a Projector
Draw a projector in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the box.
Step 1: The box
Below the middle draw a wide box with rounded corners, about twice as wide as tall, for the projector.
Step 2: The lens
On the right end draw a tall thin oval sticking out, with a smaller oval inside, for the lens.
Step 3: Two big eyes
On the front, right of the middle, draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a small U smile, eye to eye. Add an oval cheek beside each end.
Step 5: The light beam
From the lens draw 2 straight lines fanning out to the right, joined by a line near the right edge.
Tip The beam gets wider the farther it goes.
Step 6: Vents and button
On the left end draw 3 short lines, top to bottom, for vents. Add a small round button top right.
Step 7: Two reels
On top of the box draw 2 short posts, each holding a big circle reel with 3 small holes.
Step 8: Feet and table
Under each end draw a tiny square foot. Draw a table line under them, well left to well right.
Step 9: Sparkles
Draw 4 little sparkles, 2 inside the light beam and 2 in the air on the left.
Step 10: Pink and yellow
Colour the cheeks pink, and the light beam and all 4 sparkles pale yellow.
Step 11: Grey and blue
Colour the 2 reels and posts grey around the holes, and the lens light blue.
Step 12: Red button, slate box
Colour the button red, then the box and feet slate grey, around the eyes and cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
