How to Draw a Clipboard
Draw a clipboard in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the board.
Step 1: The board
In the middle of your paper draw a tall box with softly rounded corners, taller than it is wide.
Step 2: The paper
Inside the board draw a tall box for the paper, with a margin all round and more room on top.
Step 3: Two big eyes
Draw 2 big egg eyes low on the paper. Add a black dot and a shine in each.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a U smile. Add a small oval cheek beside each end.
Step 5: The clip
At the top, over the board and paper, draw a wide box for the clip. Add a smaller box inside.
Step 6: The hanging loop
On top of the clip draw a rainbow loop. Start left of the middle and stop right of the middle.
Step 7: The checklist
At the top of the paper draw 3 small squares down the left side, each with a line beside it.
Step 8: One tick
Start inside the top square and draw a big tick poking out past its top right corner.
Step 9: Sparkles and desk
Add 4 sparkles in the air, and a straight desk line under the board, left to right.
Step 10: Cream paper
Colour the paper cream, going around the cheeks and the ticked square. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Pink cheeks, green tick
Colour the cheeks pink and the ticked square green.
Step 12: Grey clip, wood board
Go over your lines. Colour the clip grey and the board wood brown, going around the paper.

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a clipboard, drawn by you.
