How to Draw Popcorn
Draw popcorn in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the bucket.
Step 1: The bucket
Low in the middle, draw the bucket: a smile curve on top, 2 leaning sides, a flat bottom.
Step 2: Rim band
Start on the left side below the corner. Draw a second smile under the first. Stop on the right side.
Step 3: Popcorn heap
Start at the bucket's top left corner. Draw 8 round bumps heaped into a dome, down to the right corner.
Step 4: Popcorn puffs
Inside the heap, draw 7 little popcorn puffs, each made of 4 round bumps.
Step 5: Bucket stripes
Draw 3 pairs of lines down the bucket, from the rim band to the bottom, to make 3 stripes.
Step 6: Flying popcorn
Draw 3 more little puffs popping out into the air, one left, one right and one up high.
Step 7: The ground
Draw a long ground line under the bucket, touching its bottom.
Step 8: Yellow popcorn
Colour the whole popcorn heap, all the little puffs inside and the 3 flying puffs yellow.
Step 9: Sky rim
Colour the rim band round the top of the bucket sky blue.
Step 10: Red stripes
Colour the 3 stripes red, leaving the bucket between them white.
