How to Draw a Police Motorcycle

14 steps · Medium · about 11 min

Draw a police motorcycle in 14 easy steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: two wheels.

Print

  1. Step 1: Two wheels

Low down, draw 2 big matching circles, a wide gap apart. Add a small hub circle inside each.

Tip Leave the top half of the page empty for the rider.

  2. Step 2: Bike body

Over the front wheel, draw a long body with a round nose and a humped tank. Hang an engine below.

Tip The body stretches from the front wheel to the middle of the gap.

  3. Step 3: Fender and fork

Arch a fender over the front wheel. Draw a fat fork from the body down to the front hub.

  4. Step 4: Windscreen and light

On the nose, draw a round headlight and a tall leaning windscreen. Add a short handlebar behind it.

  5. Step 5: Seat and box

Behind the tank, draw a long seat. Under its back end, draw a rounded box over the back wheel.

  6. Step 6: Star and light

Draw a star on the box. At the back, draw a post with a dome light on top.

  7. Step 7: Rider's body

Sitting on the seat, draw a bean-shaped body leaning forward toward the windscreen.

  8. Step 8: Head and helmet

On the shoulders, draw a big egg head. Cap it with a round helmet that comes down at the back.

  9. Step 9: Friendly face

Under the helmet, draw 2 oval eyes with black dots and a wide smile.

  10. Step 10: Arm and hand

From the shoulder, draw an arm reaching forward to a round hand on the handlebar.

  11. Step 11: Leg and boot

From the hip, draw a leg forward along the tank and down to a boot. Rule the road.

Tip The knee bends in front of the tank.

  12. Step 12: Peach and yellow

Go over your lines. Colour the face and hand peach. Colour the headlight and the star yellow.

    Tip Leave the eyes white.

  13. Step 13: Two blues

Colour the windscreen light blue. Colour the uniform, the fender, the box and the dome light a darker blue.

  14. Step 14: Grey and black

Colour the metal parts grey. Colour the tyres, seat and boot black. Leave the bike and helmet white.

Tip The metal parts are the engine, fork, handlebar, post and hubs.
