How to Draw a Pentagon
Draw a pentagon in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the roof.
Step 1: The roof
Start at a top point. Slant a line down to the left and one to the right, like a roof.
Tip Make the roof wide, not steep: both lines the same length.
Step 2: Walls and bottom
From each roof end, slant down and a little in. Join the 2 ends with a flat bottom line.
Tip A pentagon has 5 equal sides. Count them!
Step 3: Two big eyes
In the middle of the pentagon draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a black dot in each, leaving a shine.
Tip Leave a tiny white dot in each black dot. That is the shine.
Step 4: Big smile
Leave a gap under the eyes, then draw a wide U smile from under one eye to the other.
Step 5: Rosy cheeks
Under the outside of each eye, clear of the smile, draw a small sideways oval for a cheek.
Step 6: Sparkles
Draw 2 sparkle stars on each side of the pentagon, one high and one low.
Tip A sparkle star has 4 points: up, down, left and right.
Step 7: The floor
Along the flat bottom, draw a long floor line from well past the left corner to past the right.
Step 8: Pink cheeks
Colour the 2 cheeks rosy pink.
Step 9: Yellow sparkles
Colour the 4 sparkles yellow.
Step 10: Blue pentagon
Go over your lines and colour the pentagon blue, around the pink cheeks. Leave the eyes white. You're done!

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a pentagon, drawn by you.
