How to Draw a Number 6
Draw a number 6 in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the curl down.
Step 1: The curl down
In the middle draw a fat bubble curl that starts at the top right and swoops down the left side.
Tip Bubble numbers are fat and rounded, like balloons.
Step 2: The round bowl
At the bottom draw a round bowl, joined to the curl with a soft corner, and a small ring inside.
Step 3: 2 big eyes
Under the small ring draw 2 round eyes close together. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 4: A smile
Under the eyes draw a small U smile, from under the left eye to under the right eye.
Step 5: Burst lines
Around the top of the 6 draw 5 short lines pointing out, like a little burst of happiness.
Step 6: Sparkles on the left
On the left of the 6 draw 2 sparkle stars, one higher and one lower.
Step 7: Sparkles on the right
Draw 2 more sparkle stars on the right to match.
Step 8: Floor and shadow
Draw a flat oval shadow under the 6. Draw a floor line from each side, out past the sparkles.
Step 9: Teal number 6
Go over your lines, then colour the whole 6 teal, going round the face and leaving the eyes white.
Step 10: Yellow sparkles, grey shadow
Colour the sparkles yellow and the shadow grey. Your bubble number 6 is done!
