How to Draw a Magnifying Glass
Draw a magnifying glass in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the big ring.
Step 1: The big ring
A little left of the middle, draw one big circle, as big as your fist, for the rim.
Step 2: The glass
Inside it, draw a second circle a finger in, all the way round, so the rim is thick.
Step 3: A happy face
In the glass, draw 2 big round eyes with black dots, a wide U smile and 2 cheeks.
Step 4: The handle
Start at the bottom right of the rim. Draw a slanted handle with a round end. Stop on the rim.
Step 5: The collar
Where the handle meets the rim, draw a short wide band across the handle.
Step 6: Shines
Along the rim at the top right of the glass, draw a short curved shine, then a long one.
Step 7: Sparkles
Draw 3 sparkle stars around the glass, like plus signs with curvy dips.
Step 8: Yellow stars, pink cheeks
Colour the 3 sparkle stars yellow and the 2 cheeks pink.
Step 9: Sky blue glass
Colour the glass sky blue, going around the eyes and the pink cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 10: Grey rim, wood handle
Colour the rim and the collar grey, and the handle wood brown. Go over all your lines!
