How to Draw Magnetic Tiles
Draw magnetic tiles in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: three square tiles.
Step 1: Three square tiles
Below the middle of your paper draw 3 square tiles in a row, touching, sitting on the ground.
Step 2: Two big eyes
On the middle tile draw 2 big egg eyes. Add a black dot and white shine in each.
Step 3: Smile
Under the eyes, in the middle of the tile, draw a small U smile.
Step 4: Two more on top
On top of the row draw 2 more squares, each sitting over a join between 2 tiles below.
Step 5: Top tile
On top of those draw one more square in the middle, over the join.
Step 6: Triangle roofs
Lean a triangle tile against each end of the tower. Put a pointy triangle roof on the very top tile.
Step 7: Tile frames
Inside each square tile except the face one, draw a smaller square a little in from the edge.
Step 8: Ground line
Start near the left edge. Draw a straight ground line under the tiles and stop near the right edge.
Step 9: Sparkles
Draw 3 little sparkles around the tower, not touching it, then go over your lines.
Step 10: Yellow tiles
Colour the face tile, middle-right tile, top roof and sparkles yellow. Leave the eyes and 2 cheek spots white.
Step 11: Sky and pink tiles
Colour the top and bottom-left tiles sky blue. Colour the middle-left and bottom-right tiles and the 2 cheek spots pink.
Step 12: Green roofs
Colour the 2 side roofs green. Your magnetic tile tower is done!
