How to Draw a Lowrider
Draw a lowrider in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: long low body.
Step 1: Long low body
Start low left. Draw a round nose, long flat bonnet, low flat roof and long boot. Stop low right.
Tip A lowrider is long and low, so keep the roof flat and not too tall.
Step 2: Arches and tyres
Start where you stopped. Draw an arch, a flat bottom, another arch, back to the start. Tuck in 2 tyres.
Step 3: Big headlight eye
On the bonnet near the nose, draw a big round headlight. Add a black dot and 2 white shines.
Step 4: Two windows
Inside the roof, draw a window with a flat bottom. Split it with a post from top down to bottom.
Step 5: Smile and cheek
Under the headlight, draw a U smile from one edge to the other. Add a little round cheek.
Step 6: Door and handle
From the post, draw a door line straight down to the bottom. Add a small pill handle in front.
Step 7: Bumpers and tail light
From the nose, bulge a bumper out and back to it. Same on the tail. Add an oval tail light.
Step 8: Hubs and spokes
Draw a small circle inside each tyre. Draw 3 lines across each one, like a star.
Step 9: The road
Start in front of the bumper. Draw a straight road line under both tyres, stopping behind the car.
Step 10: Yellow lights, sky windows
Colour the lights yellow around the black dot, and the windows sky blue, leaving a white shine.
Step 11: Grey metal, pink cheek
Colour the hubs, bumpers and handle grey. Colour the cheek pink.
Step 12: Purple body, black tyres
Colour the body purple, around the windows, lights, cheek and handle. Colour the tyres black, around the hubs.
