How to Draw a Bottle Opener
Draw a bottle opener in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Start low in the middle. Draw up and around a wide oval, then back down to a short open neck.
Tip Keep the left side and the right side the same.
Step 2: The handle
Start at the neck. Draw a long soft box down with a round bottom, and stop back at the neck.
Tip Make the handle a little narrower than the head.
Step 3: Two big eyes
Near the top of the handle draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a black dot in each, leaving a shine.
Tip Leave half an eye of space between them.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile, and a small flat oval cheek beside each end.
Step 5: The opening
Inside the head draw a wide rounded hole. In the middle of its top, dip down around a small tooth.
Tip The tooth is the part that hooks under a bottle cap.
Step 6: Hanging hole
Near the bottom of the handle draw a small circle, the hole for hanging it up.
Step 7: A bottle cap
Beside the handle draw a small circle with a wavy, crinkled edge.
Tip Lots of tiny bumps, all the same size.
Step 8: Cap middle
Inside the bottle cap draw a smaller plain circle.
Step 9: Grey head, pink cheeks
Go over your lines. Colour the metal head grey and the cheeks pink. Leave the hole and the eyes white.
Step 10: Red bottle cap
Colour the bottle cap red, both the crinkled edge and the middle.
Step 11: Teal handle
Colour the handle teal, around the eyes, the cheeks and the little hole. Your bottle opener is done!
