14 steps · Medium · about 11 min

Draw a kid in wheelchair in 14 easy steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: egg head.

Print

  1. Step 1: Egg head

Near the top of your paper draw an egg head, a little narrower at the chin.

Tip Leave lots of room below for the chair.

  2. Step 2: Happy face

On the right half of the head draw 2 oval eyes with black dots, a tiny nose and a smile.

  3. Step 3: Bob of hair

Draw hair over the top of the head and down the back to the neck. Add a fringe line.

  4. Step 4: The body

Under the head draw a bean body with a flat bottom. It is sitting up straight.

  5. Step 5: Bent leg, 2 shoes

From the body draw a leg going forward, then bending down at the knee. Add 2 shoes pointing right.

Tip The second shoe peeks out just in front of the first.

  6. Step 6: Seat and backrest

Draw a long thin seat under the leg and a tall thin backrest behind the body. Add a push handle.

  7. Step 7: Big wheel

Under the seat draw a big round wheel. Draw a slightly smaller circle inside it. Add a ground line.

Tip The wheel hides behind the seat at the top.

  8. Step 8: Hub and spokes

Draw a small circle in the middle of the wheel. Draw 6 spokes from it out to the inner circle.

  9. Step 9: Little wheel, footrest

Under the seat front draw a post down to a little wheel. Add a flat footrest under the shoes.

Tip A short bar joins the footrest to the post.

  10. Step 10: Resting arm

From the shoulder draw an arm bending at the elbow. End it in a mitten hand resting on the leg.

Tip Rub out the lines inside the arm.

  11. Step 11: Waving arm

Draw the other arm coming from behind the body and bending up. End it in a hand held up to cheer.

  12. Step 12: Peach and yellow

Colour the face and both hands peach. Colour the top and its sleeves yellow. Leave the eyes white.

  13. Step 13: Red and blue

Colour the seat, the backrest and both shoes red. Colour the trousers blue.

  14. Step 14: Brown and grey

Colour the hair brown. Colour both tyres, the hub, the frame and the footrest dark grey.

Tip Go over your lines to finish.
