How to Draw Heart Hands
Draw heart hands in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the heart.
Step 1: The heart
Draw a heart in the middle of your paper. Start at the top dip and stop back there.
Tip This heart is the space between the two hands.
Step 2: Pointing fingers
Start beside the heart. Draw a fat finger curling over the bump and stop at the dip. Do both sides.
Step 3: Middle fingers
Start just outside each pointing finger. Draw a bigger finger curling behind it. Stop on the pointing finger.
Tip The fingertips step back one by one, like a staircase.
Step 4: Ring fingers
Start just outside each middle finger. Draw a ring finger curling behind it. Stop on the middle finger.
Step 5: Little fingers
Start just outside each ring finger. Draw the smallest finger curling behind it. Stop on the ring finger.
Step 6: Thumbs
From the heart's point draw a round thumb tip, then curve back up to the middle finger. Do both sides.
Tip The thumbs get wider as they go up, and the two tips just touch.
Step 7: Backs of the hands
Start at the little finger. Draw one long curve down the side of the paper. Stop near the bottom corner.
Step 8: Wrists and cuffs
From each hand line draw a short wrist down, across and up to the thumb. Add a cuff line.
Step 9: Knuckle lines
Draw a tiny knuckle line across each pointing finger, and one near the tip of each thumb.
Step 10: Colour the hands peach
Go over your lines. Colour the hands and wrists peach, but not the cuffs or the heart.
Step 11: Heart and cuffs
Colour the heart red and the two sleeve cuffs blue.
