How to Draw a Hazmat Suit
Draw a hazmat suit in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the hood.
Step 1: The hood
Near the top draw a big egg for the hood, a little narrower at the bottom.
Tip Make it fill the top third of your page. The suit goes below.
Step 2: Face window
Inside the hood draw a big window: a box with round corners, nearer the top.
Step 3: The face
In the window draw 2 big eyes with shines. Add a U nose and a smile.
Step 4: Round filter
Under the window draw a circle for the breathing filter. Draw a small circle inside it.
Step 5: The suit
From under the hood draw round shoulders out to each side. From each armpit draw a side, then join them.
Step 6: Long sleeves
Draw a line from each shoulder end and armpit down to the wrist, bending at the elbow. Add a cuff.
Step 7: Gloves
At the bottom of each sleeve draw a round glove with a thumb pointing in.
Step 8: Zip and waistband
Draw a zip line from the hood down to the suit's bottom. Add a line across, just above the bottom.
Step 9: Trousers
Start at the suit's bottom left. Draw 2 trouser legs with a point between. Stop at the bottom right.
Step 10: Boots and ground
Under each leg draw a tall boot, toe pointing out. Draw a long ground line under the boots.
Step 11: Peach face, pink cheeks
Colour 2 pink cheeks. Colour the rest of the window peach for the face.
Tip Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Yellow suit
Colour the hood, the suit, the sleeves and the trousers yellow, around the window and the filter.
Step 13: Grey filter and boots
Colour the round filter light grey. Colour the gloves and the boots dark grey. Your hazmat suit is done!
