How to Draw a Greece Map
Draw a greece map in 14 easy steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the top.
Step 1: The top
Start on the left, a third down. Draw a bumpy line up and across. Stop near the right corner.
Tip Greece is a hand of land reaching down into the sea. This is the top of it.
Step 2: Back along the coast
Carry on from there. Come down a little, then draw a bumpy line back left. Stop near the middle.
Step 3: Three fingers
Carry on from there. Draw 3 fingers pointing down, side by side. Stop after a small bump up.
Tip Keep a gap of sea between the fingers.
Step 4: Down the right
Carry on from the bump. Draw a bumpy line down, bulging right, then slanting right. Stop at a point.
Step 5: The big bottom part
Go left from the point and nip in. Draw a small thumb, then a long side. Stop at a tip.
Tip The big bottom part of Greece hangs on by a thin neck of land.
Step 6: Three toes
From the tip, draw 2 deep dips to make 3 toes. Go up the left side and stop.
Step 7: Close the land
Carry on from there. Draw a long thin bay going right and back. Then go up to the start.
Tip The long thin bay almost cuts Greece in two.
Step 8: The long island
At the bottom, below the land, draw a long thin island lying on its side, like a bread stick.
Tip This is Crete, the biggest island in Greece.
Step 9: Islands by the coast
Draw a long island beside the right coast. Draw 2 small islands off the left coast.
Step 10: Islands out at sea
On the right, in the open sea, draw 4 more islands. Make the top one the biggest.
Tip Greece has thousands of islands. These are just a few.
Step 11: The capital
Above the thin neck, near the right coast, draw a small circle for the capital city, Athens.
Step 12: Blue sea
Go over your lines. Colour the sea light blue, all around the land and the islands, out to the edges.
Tip Leave the land and the islands white for now.
Step 13: Green land
Colour the land and all the islands green, around the little circle.
Step 14: Red capital
Colour the little circle red for Athens. Your map of Greece is done!
