How to Draw a Golf Cart
Draw a golf cart in 14 easy steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: two little wheels.
Step 1: Two little wheels
Low on your paper draw 2 same-size circles, far apart. Inside each draw a smaller circle, then a tiny one.
Tip Golf cart wheels are small and far apart: the cart is long and low.
Step 2: Long low tub
Above the wheels draw a long low tub, flat on top, with a rainbow arch over each tyre.
Tip One long low box, no bumps. Leave a thin gap round each tyre.
Step 3: Headlights and bumpers
Near the top of the nose draw 2 small round headlights. Draw a flat pill bumper over each bottom corner.
Step 4: Roof on two posts
From the tub top draw 2 posts up, front and back. Add a flat roof across the tops.
Tip A golf cart has no doors: just a flat roof on 2 sticks.
Step 5: Head and cap
Above the tub draw a U face, starting and stopping at the same height. Add a cap and bill.
Step 6: Eyes and smile
Draw 2 round eyes with black dots, clear of the face line. Under them draw a small smile.
Step 7: Shoulders and seat back
From the chin draw a neck, then wide shoulders down to the tub. Add a round seat back behind.
Step 8: Steering wheel and arm
Draw a stick from the tub up to an oval ring. Bend an arm from the shoulder to grip it.
Step 9: Golf bag and clubs
On the back draw a leaning golf bag. From its top draw 2 clubs up to little heads.
Tip The bag leans on the back of the cart like a rucksack.
Step 10: The road
Start in front of the cart. Draw a straight road line under both tyres, stopping behind the golf bag.
Step 11: Yellow lights, cream cart
Go over your lines. Colour the 2 headlights yellow, then the whole tub and the roof cream, around them.
Step 12: Peach skin
Colour the driver's face, neck, arm and hand peach. Leave the eyes white.
Step 13: Red cap, green seat
Colour the cap, shirt and golf bag red, around the arm. Colour the seat back green.
Step 14: Grey metal, black tyres
Colour the rims, posts, bumpers, club heads and steering wheel grey, around the hand. Colour the tyre rings black.
