How to Draw a Golf Ball
Draw a golf ball in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the ball.
Step 1: The ball
A little above the middle of your paper draw one big round circle, with room under it for the tee.
Tip A golf ball is a perfect circle.
Step 2: 2 big eyes
In the middle of the ball draw 2 big round eyes, with a black dot and a shine in each.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Draw a wide U smile: start under the left eye, stop under the right. Add a cheek beside each end.
Step 4: The tee cup
Under the ball draw a little cup: start on the ball's left, slant down and in, across, and back up.
Step 5: The tee stem
From the middle of the cup draw 2 short lines straight down, close together, stopping where the grass will be.
Step 6: Dimples
Around the edge of the ball, away from the face, draw 7 tiny circles for the dimples.
Step 7: Grass
Draw a ground line out from each side of the tee, stopping near the edge. Add 3 grass blades at each end.
Step 8: Shadow and sparkles
Around the foot of the tee draw a small flat oval shadow. Add 3 little sparkles around the ball.
Step 9: Sparkles and cheeks
Colour the 3 sparkles yellow and the cheeks pink. Leave the ball white.
Step 10: Grey shadow, red tee
Colour the shadow grey and the tee cup and stem red. Go over your lines and you are done!
