How to Draw Garlic Bread
Draw garlic bread in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: a plate.
Step 1: A plate
Just below the middle draw a long flat oval plate, with a second oval inside it.
Tip The plate comes first; the food sits inside the rim.
Step 2: The loaf
On the plate draw a long, low loaf with round ends and a gently bowed top, like a baguette.
Step 3: Cut lines
Draw 4 slanted lines down across the loaf from the top edge to the bottom edge, a thumb apart.
Step 4: The crust
Draw a bowed line along the loaf just under the top edge, from the left end to the right end.
Step 5: A pat of butter
On top of the loaf, left of middle, draw a butter pat: a tilted diamond with 2 sides under it.
Tip The butter sits right on the bread.
Step 6: A drip
From the bottom of the butter draw a short round U drip. Stop above the crust line.
Step 7: Parsley flecks
Draw 5 small leaf shapes below the crust line for parsley, one in each slice.
Step 8: The table
Draw a table line under the plate, out past both sides, just touching its bottom.
Step 9: Yellow butter
Go over your lines, then colour the butter and its drip yellow.
Step 10: Tan bread, sky plate
Colour the bread tan below the crust line, around the flecks. Then colour the plate sky blue.
Step 11: Parsley and crust
Colour the parsley green, and the top crust golden brown around the butter and drip. Your garlic bread is done!
