How to Draw Fractions
Draw fractions in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the whole pizza.
Step 1: The whole pizza
At the top left, draw a big round circle. This pizza is one whole.
Tip Draw round a cup or a roll of tape to get a neat circle.
Step 2: Two halves
Beside it draw 2 half circles, flat sides facing, with a small gap. Together they match the whole.
Tip A pizza cut into 2 equal pieces. Each piece is one half.
Step 3: One quarter
At the bottom draw a quarter slice: 2 straight lines making a square corner, joined by a curve.
Step 4: Three more quarters
Draw 3 more slices the same, with all 4 corners pointing at the middle and small gaps between.
Tip A pizza cut into 4 equal pieces. Each piece is one quarter.
Step 5: The crusts
Inside the whole pizza draw a smaller circle. Inside every curved edge draw a second curve, side to side.
Step 6: Pepperoni: the whole
On the whole pizza draw 4 round pepperoni slices, spread out.
Step 7: Pepperoni: the halves
Draw 2 pepperoni slices on each half.
Tip Half of 4 is 2.
Step 8: Pepperoni: the quarters
Draw 1 pepperoni slice on each quarter.
Tip A quarter of 4 is 1.
Step 9: Yellow cheese
Colour the cheese yellow on every piece, inside the crust. Go around the pepperoni.
Step 10: Tan crusts
Colour every crust tan.
Step 11: Red pepperoni
Colour every pepperoni slice red. Go over your lines and your pizza fractions are done!
