How to Draw a Flashlight
Draw a flashlight in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the handle.
Step 1: The handle
Start above the middle, on the left. Draw down, round the bottom, and back up; stop level with the start.
Tip A long tube with a round bottom, open at the top.
Step 2: The head
From each handle line draw a short line up and out to a flat oval across the top.
Step 3: Two big eyes
On the handle, well below the head, draw 2 round eyes a gap apart. Add a black dot in each.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a small U smile from eye to eye. Add a small oval cheek at each end.
Step 5: Collar and button
Draw a short line across the top of the handle, just under the head. Add a small button under it.
Step 6: Grip rings
Near the bottom of the handle draw 2 short lines across it, a finger apart, for the grip.
Step 7: The light beam
From each end of the glass draw a line slanting out; stop a hand away. Join them with a rainbow.
Step 8: Sparkles
Inside the beam draw 2 sparkle stars, one bigger than the other.
Step 9: Yellow light
Colour the beam, the glass and the sparkles yellow.
Step 10: Pink cheeks
Colour the cheeks pink.
Step 11: Red flashlight
Colour the handle red around the eyes and cheeks, leaving the eyes white. Colour the head and button slate grey.
