How to Draw a Dragon with No Teeth

Step 1: Big egg head

On the left draw a big egg lying on its side, with a chubby snout at the bottom left.

Tip About half as tall as the whole dragon. Leave room on the right.

Step 2: Horns and spikes

On top of the head draw 2 short horns curving back. Add 3 spikes down the back.

Step 3: 2 big eyes

At the middle of the head draw 2 big tall oval eyes close together, with a black dot and shine.

Step 4: Gummy smile

Start near the snout. Draw a toothless smile, stopping below the back eye. Add a C nostril.

Step 5: Back and bottom

Start behind the head, just below the eyes. Draw down into a big round bottom, stopping on the ground.

Step 6: Tummy and plate

Start under the chin. Draw a fat C tummy down to the ground. Add a tall egg tummy plate.

Tip Add 3 smiles across the plate, from edge to edge.

Step 7: Near front leg

Start below the chin. Draw a long U leg down to a fat paw with 2 toes, and back up.

Step 8: Far leg, back foot

Start on the plate's right edge. Draw the far leg down to the ground and back. Add a bun foot.

Step 9: The wing

Under the last spike draw a fat cone leaning back. From its point draw 3 dips down to the back.

Tip Add 3 straight lines from the cone's bend to the dip points.

Step 10: Tail, spade and ground

Start on the bottom above the foot. Draw a fat tail curling up to a spade tip. Add the ground.

Tip The ground runs from under the front paw to under the spade.

Step 11: Yellow tummy and horns

Colour the tummy plate and the 2 horns yellow.

Step 12: Orange wing and spikes

Colour the wing and the 3 back spikes orange.

Step 13: Teal dragon

Colour the head, body, legs and tail teal, around the plate and wing. Leave the eyes white.
