How to Draw a Diaper

10 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw a diaper in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the diaper shape.

Print

  1. Step 1: The diaper shape

Draw a shape like chubby pants: a gently dipping top, short sides, 2 round leg holes and a round bottom.

Tip Make both leg holes match, and keep the bottom soft and round.

  2. Step 2: Two big eyes

In the middle of the diaper draw 2 big egg eyes. Add a black dot and a shine in each.

  3. Step 3: Smile and cheeks

Under the eyes draw a wide U smile. Add a small flat cheek beside each end.

  4. Step 4: The waistband

Under the top edge draw a curved line from the left side across to the right side, following the top.

Tip Keep the line the same distance below the top all the way.

  5. Step 5: Sticky tabs

On each end of the waistband draw a small tab with round corners. These hold the diaper shut.

  6. Step 6: Leg cuffs

Inside each leg hole draw a curved line that follows its edge, from the side down to the bottom.

  7. Step 7: The floor

Draw a floor line under the diaper, from well left of it to well right of it.

  8. Step 8: Sparkles

Draw 3 little sparkle stars around the diaper, not touching it. It is fresh and clean!

  9. Step 9: Yellow and pink

Go over your lines. Colour the tabs and sparkles yellow and the cheeks pink. Leave the diaper white.

  10. Step 10: Sky blue trims

Colour the waistband, around the tabs, and the 2 leg cuffs sky blue. Your diaper is ready!
