How to Draw a Corn Dog
Draw a corn dog in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the batter.
Step 1: The batter
Across the middle, draw a long fat sausage shape, tilted just a little up to the right.
Tip Keep it low, like it is lying down.
Step 2: The stick
From the lower end, draw a short thin stick down to the left: 2 lines close together.
Step 3: Mustard
Draw a thick wavy mustard band along the middle of the batter, from near one end to near the other.
Step 4: Crispy bumps
Draw 4 tiny curved dashes on the batter, 2 above the mustard and 2 below it.
Step 5: Dip cup
On the right, draw a flat oval cup top. From its left end, draw a U to its right end.
Tip Add a smaller oval inside for the sauce.
Step 6: A plate
Around the corn dog, draw an oval plate, lifting your pencil at the stick. Add a rim oval just inside.
Step 7: The table
Draw a table line under the plate from well left to well right, just touching its bottom.
Step 8: Tan stick, yellow mustard
Colour the stick tan and the mustard band yellow.
Step 9: Ginger batter
Colour the batter ginger around the mustard, leaving a thin white shine near the top.
Step 10: Red dip, white cup
Colour the sauce red and leave the cup white.
Step 11: Sky plate
Colour the plate sky blue around the corn dog and the cup. Your corn dog is done!
