How to Draw a Corkboard
Draw a corkboard in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: frame and board.
Step 1: Frame and board
Draw a wide box in the middle for the frame, and a second box inside it for the cork.
Step 2: A square note
In the top left of the cork draw a square note, tilted just a little.
Step 3: Two big eyes
On the right side of the cork draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a U smile from eye to eye, and a small oval cheek at each end.
Step 5: A photo
Under the note draw a small photo card tilted the other way, with a smaller box inside it.
Step 6: Push pins
Draw a little round pin on the note and on the photo, and one more in the top right corner.
Step 7: Writing and a heart
On the note draw 2 short writing lines. In the bottom right corner of the cork draw a tiny heart.
Step 8: The picture
In the photo draw a tiny sun top right, and a hill from the left side over to the bottom.
Step 9: Sparkles and shelf
Add 4 sparkles in the air, and a straight shelf line under the frame from left to right.
Step 10: Yellow and pink
Go over your lines, then colour the note, sun and sparkles yellow, and the cheeks, pins and heart pink.
Step 11: Sky and hill
Colour the sky in the photo light blue around the sun, and the hill green.
Step 12: Tan cork, wood frame
Colour the cork tan around the note, photo, pins, heart and face, and the frame wood brown.
Tip Leave the eyes and the photo border white.
