How to Draw a Cookie Press
Draw a cookie press in 14 easy steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the barrel.
Step 1: The barrel
In the middle draw a tall box with soft corners, like a can standing up.
Step 2: 2 big eyes
High on the barrel draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a black dot in each, leaving a shine.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a small U smile, and a flat oval cheek under each eye.
Step 4: The cap
Over the top of the barrel draw a flat box with soft corners, a little wider than the barrel.
Step 5: Rod and knob
From the middle of the cap draw a thin rod standing up, with a round knob on top.
Step 6: The grip
From the right end of the cap draw a thick handle sticking out a little downhill, round at the end.
Step 7: The trigger
Start under the grip near the cap. Draw a thin lever slanting down and out, round at the end.
Step 8: Nozzle ring
Across the bottom of the barrel draw a short flat band, a little wider than the barrel.
Step 9: Baking sheet
Under the press draw a long thin tray with a little lip standing up at each end.
Step 10: Star cookies
On the tray draw a fat 5-point star cookie on each side of the press.
Step 11: Table line
Draw a table line under the tray, from near the left edge to near the right edge.
Step 12: Cream and pink
Go over your lines, then colour the star cookies cream and the cheeks pink.
Step 13: Grey metal
Colour the knob, rod, cap, trigger, nozzle ring and tray grey.
Step 14: Red and slate
Colour the grip red, and the barrel slate around the cheeks, leaving the eyes white.
