How to Draw a Coffee Cart
Draw a coffee cart in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the box.
Step 1: The box
In the middle draw a long deep box with soft corners, a little wider at the top.
Tip Nearly 3 times as wide as it is tall, like a tray.
Step 2: The rim
Start on the left wall a finger under the top. Draw a line straight across to the right wall.
Tip The rim band shows the box has thick wooden sides.
Step 3: The handle
Draw a thin pole slanting up left from the middle of the left wall. Put a short bar on top.
Step 4: Posts and awning
Draw a post up from each end of the box. Join the tops with a flat bumpy-edged awning.
Tip The awning is a little roof to keep the sun off the coffee.
Step 5: Legs and wheels
Draw 2 fat wheels with hubs under the box. Join each hub up to the box with a short leg.
Step 6: Coffee cup
On the box side draw a U cup with a C handle. Add 3 steam wiggles up to the rim.
Tip The cup is a picture painted on the cart. Hot coffee!
Step 7: The ground
Start a little left of the cart. Draw one long straight line under both wheels, stopping past the cart.
Tip Both wheels sit right on the line.
Step 8: Tan box, grey posts
Colour the box tan, going around the cup. Colour the posts, handle, legs and hubs grey.
Step 9: Wood rim, teal awning
Colour the rim band wood brown. Colour the awning teal.
Step 10: Brown coffee, black wheels
Colour a thin brown band at the top of the cup. Colour the wheels black, around the legs and hubs.
