How to Draw the CN Tower
Draw the CN Tower in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: tall shaft.
Step 1: Tall shaft
In the middle draw a very tall thin tower, thinner as it goes up, with a flared foot.
Tip The CN Tower is a concrete needle: thin all the way up.
Step 2: The pod
Near the top of the shaft draw a fat round pod poking out both sides, like a doughnut stuck on.
Step 3: Top of the tower
From the pod draw a thinner short tower straight up, with a small round sky pod on top.
Step 4: The antenna
From the sky pod draw a long thin antenna straight up. Leave a little space above it.
Step 5: Pod windows
Draw a line across the middle of the pod. Add a row of 5 small windows under it.
Step 6: The door
At the foot of the tower draw an arched door standing on the ground.
Step 7: The ground
Draw a ground line from the foot out to each edge of the paper. Add a few grass blades.
Step 8: Bushes and a tree
Draw a bumpy bush each side of the foot. Add a round tree on a short trunk on the left.
Step 9: Clouds
Draw a puffy cloud on each side of the tower, the left one higher up.
Step 10: Stone tower
Colour the shaft, the upper tower and the antenna stone grey.
Step 11: Sky windows, green bushes
Colour the windows sky blue and the bushes and tree top green.
Step 12: Brown trunk, slate pods
Colour the trunk brown. Colour the pods and door slate, around the blue windows. Go over your lines. Done!
