How to Draw a Chibi Spider
Draw a chibi spider in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big round body.
Step 1: Big round body
In the middle of the page, draw a big round body, a little wider than tall.
Tip Leave room on both sides for the legs.
Step 2: Huge shiny eyes
Across the middle of the body, draw 2 huge oval eyes. Add a black pupil and 2 shines in each.
Tip Huge eyes make it chibi.
Step 3: Happy smile
Start under the left eye. Draw a wide U smile and stop under the right eye.
Step 4: Top legs
High on each side, draw a fat leg up to a tall knee, then down to a small round foot.
Tip Each leg is fat at the body and thin at the ankle.
Step 5: Second legs
Just under the top leg, draw a leg up to a lower knee, then down to a foot inside it.
Step 6: Third legs
Level with the eyes, draw a leg out to a low knee, then down to a foot inside again.
Step 7: Bottom legs
Low on each side, draw the last short leg out and down to a foot. Count them: 8 legs!
Tip Four legs on each side, and every one touches the body.
Step 8: Ground line
Start left of the feet. Draw a flat ground line under all 8 feet and stop past the last one.
Step 9: Pink cheeks
Colour 2 small pink cheeks, one under the outside of each eye.
Step 10: Purple body
Colour the round body purple, around the cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Black legs
Colour all 8 legs black, right down to the feet. Your chibi spider is done!
