How to Draw a Bubble Letter X
Draw a bubble letter X in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the big x.
Step 1: The big X
In the middle draw a fat bubble X: 2 slanted bars crossing as one shape, with 4 rounded ends.
Tip Bubble letters are fat and rounded, like balloons, with no sharp corners.
Step 2: Two big eyes
Where the bars cross draw 2 round eyes close together, with a black dot and white shine in each.
Step 3: A smile
Under the eyes draw a small U smile, starting under the left eye and stopping under the right.
Step 4: Burst lines
Above the V between the top arms, draw 3 short lines pointing out, a little burst of happiness.
Step 5: Sparkles on the left
On the left of the letter X draw 2 sparkle stars, one higher and one lower.
Step 6: Sparkles on the right
Draw 2 more sparkle stars on the right to match.
Step 7: The floor
Draw a long floor line under the feet of the X, from left to right.
Step 8: A shadow
Draw a flat oval shadow on the floor under the X. Rub out the floor line inside it.
Step 9: Yellow sparkles, grey shadow
Go over your lines, then colour the 4 sparkle stars yellow and the shadow grey.
Step 10: Navy letter X
Colour the whole X navy blue, leaving the eyes white. Your bubble letter X is done!
