How to Draw a Bluebell
Draw a bluebell in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the arching stem.
Step 1: The arching stem
Start low on the left. Curve a tall stem up and over like a hook. Stop near the top right.
Tip The stem droops because the flowers are heavy.
Step 2: The first bell
From the stem's tip draw a tiny stalk curving down. Hang a little bell on it with a bumpy bottom.
Step 3: Two more bells
A little way back along the stem draw another tiny stalk and bell. Add 1 more a bit further back.
Step 4: The last bells
Draw 2 more stalks and bells further down the stem, the lowest one smallest. Now you have 5 bells.
Step 5: Two long leaves
From the bottom of the stem draw a long thin leaf leaning left. Draw a shorter one leaning right.
Step 6: A curly tip
From the tip of the stem, past the first bell, draw a tiny curl swirling up and round.
Step 7: Lines on the bells
On each bell draw 1 short line down from the top, stopping above the middle bump.
Step 8: Ground and grass
Draw a soft ground line across the bottom, through the stem's foot. Flick 2 grass blades up each side.
Step 9: Blue bells
Go over your lines, then colour all 5 bells blue.
Step 10: Green leaves
Colour both leaves green.

Your finished drawing
